THE PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS THE CHARITABLE PART OF THE LONGVIEW ROTARY CLUB. AS SUCH, THIS ORGANIZATION IS IN CHARGE OF IDENTIFYING LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CHARTIABLE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITIES, AND TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THOSE COMMUNITY NEEDS.

Part 3
THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES FOR FURTHERING THEIR EDUCATION AT A COLLEGE OF THEIR CHOICE. THE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE FOR GRADUATING STUDENTS WHO HAVE APPLIED FOR CONSIDERATION FOR A SCHOLARSHIP AND WHO WERE SELECTED BY THE ORGANIZATION'S SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE.
THE LITERACY PROJECT IS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR ENHANCING LITERACY FOR OUR YOUTH. THIS INCLUDES PROVIDING A CHILDREN'S AFTER SCHOOL THEATER, BOOKS TO THE LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIBRARIES EACH WEEK.
MAJOR PROJECT FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY EACH YEAR.
THE OTHER PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE PROVIDING TRACK SPORTING EQUIPMENT FOR A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL, SUPPORT FOR A DRUG COURT, FUNDS FOR A SCHOOL GARDEN PROGRAM OR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, FUNDS FOR A PROJECT TEAM FOR A HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM, FUNDING FOR A CHILDREN'S CONCERT BY OUR SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.
