DURING THE YEAR PNWSCT SUPPORTED STUDENTS AND CONTINUING EDUCATION IN COATINGS AND RELATED STEM WITH SCHOLARSHIPS, FELLOWSHIPS AND GRANTS. WE HOSTED TWO INDUSTRY EVENTS TO SUPPORT OTHER CHARITIES (MAKE A WISH AND FORGOTTEN CHILDREN'S) DONATING ALL PROCEEDS FOR BOTH EVENTS. WE HOSTED THE NW SYMPOSIUM, A MULTIDAY EVENT WITH TECHNICAL TALKS ON VARIOUS COATINGS TOPICS AND NETWORKING/SOCIAL EVENTS. WE WORKED WITH CALPOLY TO HELP SUPPORT CHEMISTRY STUDNETS WITH TRAVEL AND LIVING EXPENSES DURING SUMMER INTERNSHIPS.
