DEVELOP A SPANISH-LANGUAGE MEDIA CAMPAIGN AIMED AT PROVIDING EDUCATION ON THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC THROUGH EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS. THE GOAL OF THE MEDIA CAMPAIGN IS TO REACH RESIDENTS CONSIDERED "ESSENTIAL WORKERS", INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FARMWORKERS, AND PROVIDE INFORMATION ON BEST PRACTICES FOR LIMITING EXPOSURE, PREVENTING TRANSMISSION, AND SEEKING TREATMENT FOR COVID-19.THE ORGANIZATION PARTICIPATES IN MANY COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS HEALTH FAIRS AND DISTRIBUTES HEALTH INFORMATION


PROVIDE RENTAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO PREVENT EVICTIONS BY PAYING PAST DUE, CURRENT, AND FUTURE RENT, TARGETING LIMITED RESOURCES TO THOSE WITH THE GREATEST NEEDS WHILE WORKING TO DISTRIBUTE FUNDS EQUITABLY. PROVIDE FOOD, UTILITIES, AND RENTAL ASSISTANCE TO THE UNDERSERVED LATINO FARMWORKER COMMUNITY.


HOST COMMUNITY EVENTS TO REACH UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS WHO MAY HAVE LIMITED LITERACY AND WHO MAY EXPERIENCE CULTURAL AND INFORMATIONAL ISOLATION, IN ORDER TO ADDRESS PREVENTION , EDUCATION AND TREATMENT FOR OPIOID USE DISORDER OR THOSE AT RISK OF OPIOID USE.


BROADCASTING - TO RAISE THE ECONOMIC, EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES OF DISADVANTAGED RESIDENTS OF THE RURAL COMMUNITIES IN THE YAKIMA VALLEY.
