CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP IS AN EVANGELICAL,BIBLE-CENTERED MISSION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO EVANGELIZE BOYS AND GIRLS WITH THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND TO ESTABLISH AND DISCIPLE THEM IN THE WORD OF GOD AND IN A LOCAL CHURCH FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING.

OUR MAIN SCHOOL YEAR MINISTRY IS CALLED GOOD NEWS CLUBS. THESE ARE HELD IN HOMES,CHURCHES,COMMUNITY CENTERS, AND SCHOOLS. WE HAD 86 OF THESE CLUBS WITH 1297IN ATTENDANCE. THEY ARE PRIMARILY DESIGNED FOR CHRISTIAN GROWTH,ALTHOUGH THE GOSPEL IS ALSO PRESENTED AT EACH CLUB. OUR PRIMARY SUMMER MINISTRY IS 5 DAY CLUBS WHICH ARE SIMILAR TO VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)THE MAJORITY OF WHICH ARE TAUGHT BY TEENS WHO ATTENDED OUR CYIA(CHRISTIAN YOUTH IN ACTION)CAMP.THERE WERE 15 ENROLLED ALONG WITH 5 MONTHLY PARTY CLUBS HELD WITH 87 ATTENDING AS WELL AS ONE-TIME PARTY CLUBS
ALONG WITH FAIRS AND OTHER VARIOUS MINISTRIES,OUR TELL-A-STORY MINISTRY STILL REMAINS STRONG. A CHILD IS INVITED TO CALL A TOLL-FREE NUMBER OR THE INTERNET TO LISTEN TO A THREE MINUTE STORY FROM THE BIBLE. AT THE END OF THE STORY, AN OPPORTUNITY IS GIVEN TO THE LISTENER TO TALK WITH A (GOOD NEWS GUIDE). IN 2021, WE RECEIVED 18117 CALLS FOR THE YEAR AND THE PERCENTAGE OF THOSE ASKING FOR A LIVE COUNSELOR IS 7%.
INSTRUCTION OF TEACHERS LEVEL 1 IS CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP'S TRAINING WHICH QUALIFIES AN INDIVIDUAL TO BE ABLE TO CONDUCT CEF'S 30 HOUR COURSE ON EVANGELISM,CALLED TEACHING CHILDREN EFFECTIVELY. THERE WERE 2 COURSES HELD IN 2021 ACROSS THE STATE. OVERALL,THERE WERE 13 ATTENDEES IN THE TCE 1 & 2 COURSES. WE HAVE MANY OTHER TRAINING PROGRAMS SUCH AS TRAINING TO WORK IN THE FAIR BOOTH,GOOD NEWS CLUBS AND 5-DAY CLUBS, AND FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH. OVER 385 ATTENDED THESE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES.
