SPOKANE UNITED METHODIST HOMES, DBA ROCKWOOD RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES (SUMH), ASSISTS ELDERLY PERSONS, INCLUDING THOSE WHO LACK ADEQUATE FINANCIAL MEANS TO PROVIDE FOR THEMSELVES, WITH FACILITIES AND SERVICES SPECIALLY DESIGNED TO MEET THE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, AND PSYCHOLOGICAL NEEDS OF THE AGED, AND TO CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR HEALTH, SECURITY, HAPPINESS, AND USEFULNESS IN LONGER LIVING. SUMH OPERATES IN TWO LOCATIONS OR DIVISIONS, ROCKWOOD SOUTH HILL AND ROCKWOOD AT WHITWORTH, EACH OF WHICH PROVIDES DWELLINGS, APARTMENTS, AND A HEALTH CENTER FOR RESIDENTS.
