THROUGH OUR WORK OF PROVIDING ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND RESOURCES, MEMBER VETERINARIANS AND VETERINARY STUDENTS ARE ABLE TO FOCUS ON THEIR DEEP COMMITMENT TO THE CARE AND WELL-BEING OF ANIMALS, THEIR OWNERS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PACIFIC NW VETERINARY CONFERENCE - STATE MEETING FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR VETERINARIANS AND THEIR STAFF PLUS A TRADE SHOW. APPROX 1,300 VETERINARIANS, TECHNICIANS, VETERINARY STAFF, SPEAKERS, VENDORS, AND GUESTS ATTENDED THE CONFERENCE AT THE TACOMA CONVENTION CENTER. THERE WERE 90 VENDOR BOOTHS AT THE TRADE SHOW. REGISTRANTS WERE ABLE TO OBTAIN OVER 140 HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT.


EDUCATION - THREE INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMS, EACH OFFERING 4 HOURS OF CE WERE OFFERED IN 2022-23. 12 ONE-HOUR WEBINARS WERE PRESENTED LIVE ON A VARIETY OF VETERINARY TOPICS WITH ATTENDANCE VARYING BETWEEN 25 AND 100 ATTENDEES AT EACH ONE.


POWER OF TEN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY - TEN RECENT GRADUATES ENTER A ONE-YEAR PROGRAM TO STUDY LEADERSHIP, COMMUNICATION, AND ORGANIZED VETERINARY MEDICINE.
