THROUGH OUR WORK OF PROVIDING ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND RESOURCES, MEMBER VETERINARIANS AND VETERINARY STUDENTS ARE ABLE TO FOCUS ON THEIR DEEP COMMITMENT TO THE CARE AND WELL-BEING OF ANIMALS, THEIR OWNERS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

PACIFIC NORTHWEST VETERINARY CONFERENCE: STATE MEETING FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR VETERINARIANS AND THEIR STAFF PLUS A TRADE SHOW. NEARLY 700 VETERINARIANS, TECHNICIANS, VETERINARY STAFF, SPEAKERS, VENDORS AND GUESTS ATTENDED A VIRTUAL, ONLINE CONFERENCE. THERE WERE 20 VENDOR BOOTHS IN THE TRADE SHOW. REGISTRANTS WERE ABLE TO OBTAIN 140 HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT.
ONE-DAY EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND WEBINARS: FIVE INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMS WITH 20 HOURS OF VIRTUAL CE WERE OFFERED IN 2020-21 ON CANNABIS AND PETS, RECEPTIONIST TRAINING, FELINE MEDICINE, SMALL ANIMAL SURGERY, AND ANIMAL CRUELTY. SIXTEEN ONE-HOUR WEBINARS WERE PRESENTED LIVE ON A VARIETY OF VETERINARY TOPICS WITH ATTENDANCE VARYING BETWEEN 25 AND 100 ATTENDEES AT EACH ONE.
POWER OF TEN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY: TEN RECENT GRADUATES ENTER A ONE YEAR PROGRAM TO STUDY LEADERSHIP, COMMUNICATION, AND ORGANIZED VETERINARY MEDICINE.
