THE DIVERSIFY VETERINARY MEDICINE COALITION (DVMC) WAS FORMED IN 2020 WITH A CLEAR VISION: TO ADVANCE BLACK, INDIGENOUS AND PEOPLE OF COLOR (BIPOC) REPRESENTATION IN THE VETERINARY COMMUNITY.

VETERINARY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: THE VETERINARY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM HELPS CREATE EQUITABLE PATHWAYS FOR BIPOC STUDENTS TO PURSUE VETERINARY EDUCATION AND TRAINING. IN ADDITION TO FINANCIAL SUPPORT, DVMC ALSO FOCUSES ON PROVIDING ONGOING MENTORSHIP AND INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES TO THOSE STUDENTS WHO NEED HELP ON THEIR EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY.
