POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION: NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY PROVIDES POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION TO APPROXIMATELY 2400 STUDENTS ON CAMPUSES IN KIRKLAND, WA, SALEM OR, AND VIA ONLINE LEARNING MODALITIES. INCLUDED AMONG THESE STUDENTS ARE 23 ACT 6 SCHOLARS WHO RECEIVE FULL NEED SCHOLARSHIPS, INCREASE THE DIVERSITY OF THE UNIVERSITY POPULATION AND FILL IMPORTANT STUDENT LEADERSHIP POSITIONS. NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY ALSO PREPARES OUR STUDENTS TO BE PROFESSIONALS, LAY LEADERS FOR CHURCH MINISTRIES AND OTHER NOT-FOR-PROFIT MINISTRY ORGANIZATIONS. MANY STUDENTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO ON MISSION TRIPS TO OTHER COUNTRIES OR TO STUDY ABROAD.
