THE ANDERSON IMPACT CENTER'S GOAL IS TO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE ANDERSON COMMUNITY BASED ON THE FOUR PILLARS OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, AND HUMAN SERVICES.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAM DESIGNED TO EQUIP INDIVIDUALS WITH THE SKILLS NEEDED FOR SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT. WORKING TO ACQUIRE PROGRAM SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR TRAINING PURPOSES. APPROXIMATELY 10-12 PARTICIPANTS ARE ATTENDING WORKSHOPS AND OTHERS ARE ATTENDING CLASSES. CURRENTLY THE ORGANIZATION IS ESTABLISHING RELATIONSHIPS WITH EMPLOYERS TO BUILD A JOB BANK WITH THE ANTICIPATION OF RECEIVING JOB NOTICES FROM THESE EMPLOYERS. THE ORGANIZATION WILL WORK AS JOB MENTORS IN HELPING CLIENTS OBTAIN EMPLOYMENT.
