KIPP CHICAGO SCHOOLS IS A NETWORK OF FREE, OPEN-ENROLLMENT PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOLS OFFERING A COLLEGE PREPARATORY EDUCATION TO STUDENTS FROM CHICAGO'S MOST UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES. TODAY, KIPP CHICAGO SCHOOLS SERVES APPROXIMATELY 3,100 STUDENTS AT FOUR PRIMARY AND FOUR MIDDLE SCHOOLS IN THE AUSTIN, ENGLEWOOD, HUMBOLDT PARK, AND NORTH LAWNDALE COMMUNITIES. KIPP CHICAGO SCHOOLS ALSO SUPPORTS OVER 1,000 KIPP ALUMNI THROUGH ITS KIPP THROUGH COLLEGE PROGRAM. FAR SURPASSING LOCAL NORMS, 91% OF ALUMNI HAVE COMPLETED HIGH SCHOOL AND 81% HAVE MATRICULATED TO COLLEGE. KIPP ASPIRES TO GROW ITS IMPACT IN CHICAGO.
