AUDI CLUB NORTH AMERICA EXISTS TO PROMOTE BETTER DRIVING EXPERIENCES THROUGH DRIVER SAFETY TRAINING AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION EXCHANGE, WHILE PROMOTING AND BUILDING CAMARADERIE AMONG AUDI ENTHUSIASTS.

DURING 2021 AUDI CLUB NORTH AMERICA HELD SAFETY SEMINARS, TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE AND REVIEWS OF SAFETY FEATURES OF VEHICLES. OVER 100 ADULT DRIVER SCHOOL DAYS, AUTO CROSSES, MILEAGE CHALLENGES, RALLIES AND WINTER DRIVING SCHOOLS WERE HELD DURING 2021 WITH APPROXIMATELY 5,000 PARTICIPANTS, VOLUNTEERS, INSTRUCTORS IN ATTENDANCE. TWENTY TECHNICAL SESSIONS, SEMINARS, AND CLINICS WITH OVER 500 PARTICIPANTS IN ATTENDANCE. ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE DRIVER EDUCATION AND CLINICS RECEIVE THE QUATTRO MAGAZINE THAT CONTAINS TIPS ON MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND DRIVING TECHNIQUES. AUDI CLUB NORTH AMERICA HELD ADULT AND TEEN EDUCATION CLASSES THAT TAUGHT SAFE DRIVING TECHNIQUES THROUGH A SERIES OF CAR CONTROL EXERCISES SUCH AS EMERGENCY LANE CHANGES, BRAKING IN BAD CONDITIONS, AND OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE. PARTICIPANTS UTILIZE SKILLS IN REAL DRIVING CONDITIONS AND REACT BETTER TO MERGENCY SITUATIONS. ADULTS AND TEENS RECEIVE A MANUAL ALONG WITH CLASSROOM AND ONSITE TRAINING. TWO TEEN CLINICS WERE HELD DURING 2021 WITH APPROXIMATELY 50 TEENS, PARENTS AND INSTRUCTORS PARTICIPATING. WINTER DRIVING CLASSES WERE ALSO HELD TO TEACH SAFE DRIVING TECHNIQUES FOR SLIPPERY CONDITIONS. THESE CLASSES HAD EXERCISES INCLUDING OVER-STEERING, UNDER-STEERING, AND EEMERGENCY BRAKING. NO WINTER DRIVING SCHOOLS WERE HELD DURING 2021.
