THE COLLABORATIVE SUPPORTS 21 HOSPITALS SERVING RURAL COMMUNITIES IN WASHINGTON. THE MEMBERS ARE PUBLIC HOSPITAL DISTRICTS DESIGNATED AS CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITALS (CAH). THE COLLABORATIVE ASSISTS HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS AND ADMINISTRATIVE LEADERS WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT AND COMPLIANCE PROJECTS AS WELL AS ESTABLISHING AND MANAGING DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC COMMITTEES. DURING 2021, THE COLLABORATIVE FOCUSED ON PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT AMONG THE MEMBERS AND ASSISTING MEMBER HOSPITALS IN NEGOTIATING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS AND CONTRACTING TO HELP IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF PROVIDING HEALTH CARE IN A COST-EFFECTIVE MANNER.
