WE ORGANIZED AND HELD TWO MEETINGS FOR THE PRESIDENTS AND SENIOR EXECUTIVES OF OUR ALDA MEMBER COMPANIES. THESE MEETINGS ARE DESIGNED TO ASSESS BUSINESS TRENDS OF INTEREST TO OUR INDUSTRY, NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND EMERGING MARKETS, AND OFFER MANAGEMENT ADVICE AND STRATEGIES ALONG WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO INTERACT AND DEVELOP BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER COMPANIES AND EXECUTIVES IN OUR INDUSTRY. THE PURPOSE IS TO STRENGTHEN THE BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE AND PERFORMANCE OF OUR MEMBERS. WE ACQUAINT OUR MEMBERS WITH INDUSTRY TRENDS, CHANGING CUSTOMER NEEDS FOR OUR INDUSTRY'S PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES.
WE SPONSOR THREE MARKET STATISTICS REPORTS TRACKING SALES OF OUR MEMBERS' PRODUCTS IN THE GLOBAL MARKETS. WE ALSO PROVIDE OUR MEMBERS WITH A QUARTERLY REPORT OFFERING A HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW OF THE GLOBAL MARKET AND 15 PRODUCT AND MARKET SEGMENTS. THE PURPOSE IS TO INCREASE OUR MEMBERS UNDERSTANDING OF THE GLOBAL MARKETS AND TRENDS IN THE MARKETS FOR THEIR PRODUCTS.
WE SPONSOR AN ANNUAL SALARY SURVEY COVERING FIELD SALES AND TECHNICAL SERVICE PERSONNEL TO HELP OUR MEMBERS BENCHMARK THEIR COMPENSATION AND SALARY ADMINISTRATION PRACTICES AGAINST THE AVERAGES OF OTHER COMPANIES IN OUR INDUSTRY.
