THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS TWO EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ANNUALLY FOR THEIR MEMBERSHIP. THE FALL PROGRAM, WHICH IS USUALLY A CLINICAL EVENT, WAS HELD ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2012, AT THE MASSACHUSETTS MEDICAL SOCIETY HEADQUARTERS, AND FEATURED GLENN M. PREMINGER, MD, DUKE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER, SPEAKING ON THE TOPIC OF "PRACTICAL ADVICE ON MEDICAL STONE MANAGEMENT."THE SECOND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM HELD IN THE SPRING, ALSO INCLUDES MAPU'S ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING. THIS MEETING WAS HELD ON MAY 23, 2013. THE GUEST SPEAKERS WERE CYNTHIA DUNN, RN, FACMP, ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF HEALTHTRONICS, INC., HEATHER TRAFTON, PA-C.
