THIS YEAR, WE ADMITTED AND CARED FOR 189 PATIENTS REPRESENTING ALL SEVEN TURTLE SPECIES NATIVE TO NEW HAMPSHIRE, A 243% INCREASE IN PATIENTS OVER THE PREVIOUS YEAR. IN ADDITION TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE, WE ORGANIZED NINE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS HOSTED BY PUBLIC SCHOOLS, PUBLIC LIBRARIES, CONSERVATION ORGANIZATIONS, PRIVATE BUSINESSES, AND LOCAL TELEVISION NETWORKS ACROSS THE STATE AND ATTENDED BY HUNDREDS OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC. WE ALSO RESPONDED TO 421 PHONE INQUIRIES AND ENGAGED WITH MANY MORE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA OUTREACH.
