VERMONT COVERTS MADE GREAT STRIDES IN 2021. WE CONTINUED WITH OUR ONLINE PROGRAMMING AND MOVED TO SOME IN-PERSON EVENTS, TAKING NECESSARY COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS. DUE TO CONTINUED OUTBREAKS, WE DID NOT HAVE THE OVERNIGHT COOPERATOR TRAINING THIS YEAR. IN 2021, WE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED OUR NEW LOGO, WEBSITE, AND THE HEARTWOOD PODCAST. WE ALSO DEVELOPED A SIGN THAT COOPERATORS CAN DISPLAY AND A NEW COVERTS T-SHIRT, HELPING TO SPREAD OUR PEER-TO-PEER NETWORK. THIRTY-FIVE ONLINE AND 12 IN-PERSON EVENTS WERE HELD AS WELL AS INFORMAL COOPERATOR ZOOMS OVER LUNCH AND IN THE EVENING. WE STARTED AN ONLINE BOOK GROUP WITH A SLOW READ OF ALDO LEOPOLD'S SAND COUNTY ALMANAC. WE PRODUCED 4 NEWSLETTERS VIA MAIL AND NUMEROUS E-MAIL E-NEWSLETTERS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. WE CONTINUED OUR INVOLVEMENT WITH LAND ETHIC VERMONT, WHERE WE PARTICIPATED IN STRATEGIC PLANNING TO SHARE THIS CONCEPT THROUGH VERMONT. 2021 PROGRAMS: EMERALD ASH BORER PART 2 MAKING SENSE OF FOREST CARBON MARKETS TRACKS AND SIGNS SECRET LIVES OF BATS WATERSHED BIOASSESSMENT BOBCATS, COYOTES AND THEIR COUSINS DEER IN YOUR WOODS MINK, OTTER, SKUNK, OR FISHER?
