THE UKRAINE VOLYA FOUNDATION PROVIDES PSYCHOTHERAPY TO CHILDREN WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE HORRORS OF WAR AND HAVE BEEN THE INTENDED TARGETS OF VIOLENCE, WITNESSES OF TRAUMATIZING EVENTS INCLUDING; SHELLING AND DESTRUCTION, DEATH AND IINJURY, TORTURE AND MURDER. THEY HAVE LOST THEIR CAREGIVERS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS AND EXTENDED FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND LOVED ONES. THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH 5 SHELTERS TO CONTINUOUSLY HELP 400 CHILDREN. 160 PSYCHOLOGISTS, SOCIAL WORKERS, AND CAREGIVERS HAVE GONE THROUGH OUR TRAINING PROGRAMS IN ATHE LAST 10 MONTHS40 CHILDREN ARE CURRENTLY IN THERAPY SESSIONS WITH UVF PROFESSIONALS.
