THE GOAL OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO ADVANCE SOLUTIONS, PUBLIC CIVIC EDUCATION AND UNDERSTANDING ABOUT TECHNOLOGY, NEWS AND INFORMATION, AND CIVIC AFFAIRS LOCALLY, NATIONALLY, AND GLOBALLY. THE FOUNDATION WILL BE FOSTERING THE COLLECTION OF OBJECTIVE DATA, ANALYSIS, AND RESEARCH NEEDED TO UNDERSTAND THE EFFECTS OF PLATFORM STANDARDS AND THE WAY THE PUBLIC IS EFFICIENTLY SERVED INFORMATION THROUGH MULTIPLE, INDEPENDENT SOURCES AROUND THE NATION AND GLOBALLY.
