AOR OFFERS A BROAD RANGE OF RECOVERY-FOCUSED MENTAL HEALTH AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES, INCLUDING ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT, COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND THERAPY SERVICES.

DURING OUR START-UP YEAR, WE PROVIDED OUR EXPERTISE TO SUPPORT OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WITH SIMILAR MISSION THROUGH SUBCONTRACTED SERVICES (WHILE OUR OWN LICENSE WAS PENDING).
BECAUSE THIS WAS A START-UP YEAR FOR THE ORGANIZATION, THE ACTIVITIES PERFORMED FOCUSED ON ESTABLISHING "ART OF RECOVERY" AS A LEGITIMATE SERVICE PROVIDER INITIALLY BASED IN LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. SIGNIFICANT PREPARATIONS INCLUDED APPLYING FOR A LICENSE, ESTABLISHING A PRESENCE IN THE COMMUNITY, ENGAGING WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES AT THE ILLINOIS STATE LEVEL, AND ENGAGING WITH AND CERTIFYING OUR PRESENCE WITH VARIOUS PAYER ENTITIES, IN ORDER TO ENSURE SEAMLESS AND TIMELY PROCESSING OF ALL CLAIMS SUBMITTED FOR SERVICES PROVIDED DIRECTLY TO CLIENTS IN THE COMMUNITY.
