VEHICLE AID PROGRAM - UKRAINIAN ACTION (UA) OPERATE A GRANT PROGRAM TO PROVIDE VEHICLES (INCLUDING AMBULANCES, PICKUP TRUCKS AND OTHER 4X4'S) TO LOCAL NGO'S OPERATING IN REGIONS MOST AFFECTED BY THE RUSSIAN WAR ON UKRAINE. THESE VEHICLES HELP PROVIDE MEDICAL EVACUATIONS AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF HUMANITARIAN AID TO THOSE DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY THE WAR.
HUMANITARIAN AND DISASTER RELIEF - UA PROVIDES HUMANITARIAN AID AND DISASTER RELIEF SUPPORT FOR UKRAINIAN CITIZENS AFFECTED BY THE RUSSIAN WARE ON UKRAINE. FOR FY 2022 THIS INCLUDED IN-KIND GRANTS OF POWER AND CLEAN WATER EQUIPMENT, GENERATORS, SOLAR POWER BANKS, CLOTHING, MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND OTHER RESOURCES. HUMANITARIAN AID IS GRANTED TO PRE-APPROVED LOCAL UKRAINIAN NGO'S, CHARITIES, MUNICIPALITIES, ORPHANAGES, AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS, AND EXCLUSIVELY FOR PROJECTS THAT ADVANCE UA'S MISSION.
RECONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION - UA GRANTS TO QUALIFIED LOCAL UKRAINIAN NGO'S TO ACCOMPLISH RECONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION PROJECTS IN COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY THE RUSSIAN WAR ON UKRAINE. GRANTS FOR FY 2022 WERE UTILIZED TO REPAIR DAMAGED WINDOWS AND DOORS FOR FAMILIES IN THE CHERNIHIV REGION AND TO PROVIDE FREE MENTAL HEALTHCARE TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN AFFECTED BY THE WAR.
