STUDIO ROUTE 29 IS A PROGRESSIVE ART STUDIO. THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THIS CORPORATION ARE TO PROVIDE A CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO EXPLORE AND DEVELOP AN ARTISTIC PRACTICE.

STUDIO - THERE ARE CURRENTLY 35 ENROLLED ARTISTS WITH DISABILITIES MEETING WEEKLY. WE ALSO HOST SEVERAL SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR 40 STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES, AT NO COST, FOR PRE-VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND COMPLETE ACCESS TO ALL OF OUR STUDIO ACTIVITIES. WE HOST PUBLIC EXHIBITIONS, MONTHLY FILM SCREEINGS, ARTIST TALKS AND INTERVIEWS THAT CREATE INCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THOSE HISTORICALLY DISPOSSESSED OF THEM. THIS YEAR THE STUDIO CREATED CREATED A LIBRARY, HOSTED A FASHION SHOW, A CIRCUS AND A FARMER'S MARKET. WORKSHOPS, PROGRAMS, EXHIBITIONS AND OUTREACH IMPACTED 13,470 VISITORS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS RAISING AWARENESS OF DISABILITY ARTS IN OUR COMMUNITY AND BEYOND.
