RESEARCH SPONSORED BY THE ORGANIZATION BENEFITS VETERANS TREATED AT THE VA SIERRA NEVADA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY ADVANCING KNOWLEDGE IN THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF DISEASES AND DISABILITY. CLINICIANS CONDUCTING THESE STUDIES ARE TESTING AND TEACHING OTHERS ABOUT NEW TREATMENTS FOR MEDICAL CONDITIONS THAT ARE SERIOUS PROBLEMS FOR VA PATIENTS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
LAUNCHED SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS TO EDUCATE ON CURRENT STUDIES, GETTING INVOLVED WITH RESEARCH, AND PROMOTING GENERAL AWARENESS OF WHAT RESEARCH IS IN OUR COMMUNITY. CONTRIBUTES TO THE MONTHLY VA RESEARCH NEWSLETTER WHICH PROVIDES INFORMATION TO VETERANS AND VA EMPLOYEES ON RESEARCH ACTIVITY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.
