Part 3 - Line 1

TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY HOUSING FOR FAMILIES WHO TRAVEL FAR FROM HOME IN ORDER FOR THEIR CHILD TO RECEIVE MEDICAL CARE AND TREATMENT. THE NONPROFIT WILL ADMINISTER TO THE NEEDS, AND ENRICH THE LIVES, OF THE PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN HOSPITALIZED FOR CANCER OR CARDIAC SURGERY, OR FOR OTHER TREATMENTS AND ILLNESSES.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

IN 2023, THE NONPROFIT TURNED TWO YEARS OLD, LAUNCHED FOUR NEW HOUSES AND HOUSED SIXTEEN FAMILIES WHO NEEDED LONG-TERM PEDIATRIC CANCER OR CARDIAC CARE AT SEATTLE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. THE MAJORITY OF THE FAMILIES THAT WERE SERVED WERE LOW TO MODERATE INCOME AND THEY TRAVELED FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY - THE CLOSEST FAMILY COMING FROM NW WASHINGTON AND THE FARTHEST FLYING IN FROM FLORIDA THAT BROUGHT US TO A TOTAL OF SEVEN HOUSES FOR TWENTY-TWO FAMILIES OVER OUR FIRST TWO YEARS. WE ALSO RAISED ENOUGH FUNDING AT OUR 2023 AUCTION FUNDRAISER TO LAUNCH AND SUSTAIN AN EIGHTH HOUSE WHICH LAUNCHED IN EARLY 2024.
