THE CORPORATION IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY ON BEHALF OF AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF CLAFLIN UNIVERSITY, A SOUTH CAROLINA NONPROFIT CORPORATION, AND ITS MISSION IS TO EDUCATE STUDENTS WITHOUT REGARD TO GENDER, RACE, RELIGION OR ETHNIC ORGIN. THE CORPORATION SHALL SOLICIT, ACCEPT, RECEIVE, MANAGE AND DISBURSE CONTRIBUTIONS OF PROPERTY, INCLUDING REAL PROPERTY, AND INCOME THEREFROM, AND TO APPLY FOR, ACCEPT AND EXPEND GRANTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR REQUIREMENTS.

WE WILL CULTIVATE OUTSTANDING AND MEMORABLE EXPERIENCES BY OFFERING DYNAMIC AND DIVERSE OPPORTUNITIES WHICH ENRICH THE CAMPUS AND PROMOTE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES. THROUGH STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR ACADEMIC AND CO-CURRICULAR PARTNERS, WE WILL FOSTER LEADERS AND NURTURE FUTURE PROFESSIONALS BY ENHANCING THEIR EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE, HELPING INDIVIDUALS REACH THEIR POTENTIAL AND PROVIDING A LEARNING LABORATORY ON CAMPUS.THE STUDENT CENTER IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
