BROOKS TOWER RECYCLING COLLECTION PILOT: WITH THE COOPERATION OF BROOKS TOWER RESIDENCES, WE COMPLETED A RECYCLING COLLECTION PROGRAM IN A 550-UNIT MULTIFAMILY AND COMMERCIAL BUILDING IN DOWNTOWN DENVER. THE PILOT PROGRAM BEGAN DECEMBER 1, 2022 AND CONCLUDED JUNE 2023, PROVING THE CONCEPT AND PROVIDING A MODEL TO SCALE THE PROGRAM TO ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS WHERE IT IS DESIRED, VIABLE AND AFFORDABLE.
CIRCULAR ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT CENTER: CIRCULAR COLORADO WAS AWARDED A REIMBURSABLE GRANT TO ESTABLISH AND RUN THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT CENTER, A PROGRAM OF THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT. THE CURRENT CONTRACT BEGAN JULY 1, 2023 AND WILL END JUNE 30, 2024, WITH AN OPTION FOR RENEWAL. THE CENTER EMPOWERS AND FACILITATES CONNECTIONS BETWEEN SECTORS IN COLORADO AND REGIONALLY TO CREATE CIRCULAR ECONOMY SOLUTIONS USING MATERIALS THAT COLORADANS RECYCLE.
