THE DUTCHESS DIVAS SOFTBALL, INC. HELD TRYOUTS, SELECTED PLAYERS FOR THE PROGRAM AT THE 14U, 16U, AND 18U LEVEL FOR THE 2021-22 SEASON DURING THE SUMMER OF 2021. THE 2021-22 SEASON COMPLETED DURING THE 2022 FISCAL YEAR. A TOTAL OF 36 YOUNG LADIES UNDER THE AGE OF 18 WERE SELECTED TO BENEFIT FROM THE SOFTBALL PROGRAM OFFERINGS FOR 2021-22. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR JANUARY 1, 2022 TO DECEMBER 31, 2022 THE TEAMS HELD PRACTICE A FEW TIMES PER WEEK TO REFINE INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM SOFTBALL SKILLS. THE TEAMS PLAYED IN TOURNAMENT COMPETITION DURING THIS PERIOD. IN THE SUMMER OF 2022 THE ORGANIZATION SELECTED ATHLETES FOR THE 2022-23 SEASON. THREE TEAMS WERE CREATED WITH ONE EACH AT THE 18U, 14U AND 12U LEVEL. TRAINING AND COMPETITION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE CONTINUED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE CALENDAR YEAR 2022. THESE ACTIVITIES CREATED PROGRESS TOWARD THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL OF DEVELOPING WOMEN'S SOFTBALL TALENT AMONG YOUNG LADIES IN THE HUDSON VALLEY REGION OF NEW YORK STATE.
