SUPPORT FARMERS AND FARM ADVOCATES TO ELEVATE FARMER VOICES, PROVIDE ESSENTIAL RESOURCES TO KEEP OUR FARMERS SAFE AND INVEST IN THEIR FUTURES. GRAIN BIN SAFETY CAMPAIGN THE GOAL OF THE GRAIN BIN SAFETY CAMPAIGN IS TO REDUCE THE OCCURRENCE OF GRAIN BIN ACCIDENTS BY RAISING AWARENESS OF THE HAZARDS AND BY RAISING FUNDS TO EQUIP FIRST RESPONDERS WITH THE TOOLS AND TRAINING NEEDED TO RESPOND QUICKLY WHEN NECESSARY IN THE EVENT OF A GRAIN BIN ACCIDENT. THE FUNDS RAISED WILL BE USED TO PURCHASE GRAIN BIN RESCUE KITS AND TRAINING FOR OUR FIRST RESPONDERS.
AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM EACH YEAR, HARVEST OUTREACH INC. AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO DESERVING STUDENTS IN AN AGRICULTURE RELATED FIELD OF STUDY. AWARDS ARE BASED ON A COMBINATION OF SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT AND A COMMITMENT ON THE PART OF THE APPLICANTS TO THEIR CHOSEN FIELDS, BEST DEMONSTRATED BY PURSUING A DEGREE RELATED TO OR IDENTIFIED WITH ENGINEERING, AGRICULTURE OR TRADES. APPLICANTS MUST BE A US RESIDENT AND MUST BE ATTENDING AN ACCREDITED, UNIVERSITY, TECH OR VOCATIONAL COLLEGE. FINANCIAL NEED IS ALSO CONSIDERED.
