PROMOTE STUDENT ATHELETIC PROGRAMS AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL. THE NJCAA REGION 4 IS THE GOVERNING BODY OF 30 MEMBER SCHOOLS THAT BELONG TO THE NJCAA MEMBERSHIP. EVERY YEAR REGION 4 PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITIES TO OUR MEMBER INSTITUTIONS AND RESPECTIVE STUDENT-ATHLETES TO COMPETE IN REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS AND DISTRICT EVENTS WITH THE HOPES OF REPRESENTING OUR REGION AND THEIR RESPECTIVE INSTITUTIONS AT THE NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.

THE NJCAA REGION 4 GOVERNS AND ADMINISTERS COLLEGE SPORTS FOR 30 MEMBER COLLEGES WITHIN THE NJCAA. REGION 4 OPERATES THROUGH A GOVERANCE STRUCTURE, EMPOWERING SCHOOLS IN EACH DIVISION TO GUIDE AND ENHANCE THEIR PARTICIPATION IN COLLEGE SPORTS. THE REGION 4 LEADERSHIP IS LED BY DULY APPOINTED MEMBERS FROM WITHIN THE REGIONAL MEMBERSHIP INSTITUTIONS. THIS UNIT SERVES AS THE SENIOR LEADERSHIP BODY FOR REGION 4 AND REPORTS TO THE NATIONAL OFFICE OF THE NJCAA. THE CURRENT THREE DIVISION STRUCTURE CREATES FAIR SPORTS COMPETITION FOR LIKE-MINDED INSTITUTIONS AND PROVIDES STUDENT-ATHLETES SUCCESS BY ENSURING STUDENTS ARE PREPARED FOR THE COLLEGE CLASSROOM WHEN THEY ENROLL IN SCHOOL AND THAT THEY CONTINUE TO PROGRESS TOWARD A DEGREE WHILE PLAYING SPORTS. NJCAA REGION 4 FUNDS DISTRICT TOURNAMENTS THROUGH ADDITIONAL COMPETITION VERSUS OTHER REGIONS AS DEEMED NECESSARY THROUGH THE NJCAA NATIONAL OFFICE ASSIGNMENTS.
