TO EDUCATE, PROMOTE AND PROVIDE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT FOR ALL CHILDREN TO ACHIEVE JOYFUL PARTICIPATION IN THEIR WORLD THROUGH MOVEMENT, COMMUNICATION, ACADEMICS, RELATIONSHIPS AND OTHER LIFE SKILLS.

2023 WAS A VERY PRODUCTIVE YEAR FOR PLANNING HOW WE CAN FURTHER ESTABLISH OURSELVES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. WE HAD A VIDEO MADE TO SHARE WHAT WE DO AND OUR MISSION. THE VIDEO HAS BEEN SENT OUT FOR DONORS AND IS ALSO ON OUR UPGRADED WEBSITE. FOR OUR WEBSITE, A NEW DONATION PAGE WAS ESTABLISHED AND WE BEGAN TO ACCEPT DONATIONS. WE CONTINUED TO TREAT MANY CHILDREN, BRING IN AN ADDITIONAL OT AND A NEW SPEECH THERAPIST TO COVER THE CASELOAD THAT IS BEING INCREASED DUE TO DONATIONS. WE WERE ABLE TO RAISE FUNDS FROM PRIVATE DONATIONS AS WELL AS FROM ELISA'S GREATEST WISHES. PLANS HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR 2024 INCLUDING AN EXTRAVAGANZA IN THE FALL TO BRING ABOUT AN AWARENESS OF JOYFUL MOTION, INC. AND WHAT WE DO AND TO BRING IN DONATIONS. WE NOW HAVE A STEERING COMMITTEE THAT MEETS ONCE EVERY 2 WEEKS, A FINANCIAL COMMITTEE MEETING ONCE A MONTH, AN EVENT PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING MONTHLY AND A DONATIONS COMMITTEE TO ESTABLISH POLICIES REGARDING HOW TO BEST UTILIZE THE DONATIONS FOR PATIENT CARE. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WAS ABLE TO MEET 10 TIMES DURING 2023.
