BROOKS REHABILITATION PARTNERED WITH HALIFAX HOSPITAL TO PROVIDE INTENSIVE REHABILITATION IN THE DAYTONA, FLORIDA AREA. THE 40 BED UNIT IS LOCATED AT THE HALIFAX HOSPITAL AND SPECIALIZES IN TREATING STROKE, SPINAL CORD INJURIES, AND BRAIN INJURIES. BROOKS REHABILITATION AT HALIFAX HEALTH, A 40- BED UNIT, IS DAYTONA'S ONLY LEVEL II TRAUMA CENTER THAT ALSO HOLDS A COMPREHENSIVE STROKE CENTER DESIGNATION. THIS FACILITY ALLOWS PATIENTS WITH ACUTE REHABILITATION NEEDS TO STAY CLOSE TO HOME DURING THEIR RECOVERY. IN 2023, THIS FACILITY DISCHARGED 957 PATIENTS AND PROVIDED 13,326 DAYS OF PATIENT CARE. IN OCTOBER 2016, BROOKS REHABILITATION PARTNERED WITH HALIFAX HEALTH TO PROVIDE QUALITY OUTPATIENT REHABILITATION SERVICES TO THE DAYTONA, FLORIDA AREA. THE PARTNERSHIP CONSISTS OF FIVE CLINICS.
