IN 2020, THE GOAL FOUNDATION, IN COLLABORATION WITH OGDEN CITY, WEBER COUNTY, THE OGDEN/WEBER CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU, CORPORATE SPONSORS, LOCAL BUSINESSES, AND THE COMMUNITY, PRODUCED THE OGDEN MARATHON. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDED VOLUNTEER AND/OR FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE FOLLOWING HIGH PROFILE EVENTS: EL DOCE,THE LARRY H MILLER TOUR OF UTAH, XTERRA USA CHAMPIONSHIPS, XTERRA NATIONAL TRAIL RUN CHAMPIONSHIPS, AND THE NATIONAL FAT BIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS. THE GOAL SUPPORTED AND/OR PRODUCED EVENTS RESULTING IN THE FOLLOWING: 1. 94 VOLUNTEERS GIVING 653 HOURS OF SERVICE 2. PARTICIPATION FROM 2,471 ATHLETES FROM OUR COMMUNITY AND AROUND THE WORLD 3. AN ESTIMATED 650,000 IN ECONOMIC IMPACT TO THE OGDEN AREA
