SERVING UTAH AND THE WESTERN U.S., UFOMT PRESENTS A QUALITY OPERA AND MUSICAL SEASON EACH YEAR. DURING THE 2022 FESTIVAL SEASON THERE WERE 43 OPERA/MUSICAL OR STRAIGHT PLAY PERFORMANCES, 8 CONCERTS, 6 SILENT FILMS, 118 CLASSES (63 ACADEMY, 3 CABARETS, AND 52 CONSERVATORY), AND 5 FREE PERFORMANCES. DURING THE 2022 FISCAL YEAR THERE WERE 182 CLASSIC FILMS SHOWN AT THE UTAH THEATRE FROM OCTOBER 2021 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2022. THEY ALSO PRODUCED THE ANNUAL UTAH HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS PROGRAM, WHICH ENTAILED UFOMT SENDING JUDGES TO 50 DIFFERENT SCHOOLS TO JUDGE THEIR HIGH SCHOOL MUSICALS, AND THEN PROVIDING AN AWARDS SHOW TO ANNOUNCE THE WINNERS.
