UTAH ELECTRICAL JOINT APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING COMMITTEE (THE ORGANIZATION) IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED IN 1965 UNDER AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE INTERMOUNTAIN NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION AND THE LOCAL UNION NUMBER 354 OF THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS (THE UNION). THE INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYERS AND THE UNION CONTRIBUTE TO THE ORGANIZATION IN THE AMOUNT AND MANNER PROVIDED IN THE CURRENT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT. THE ORGANIZATION IS CONDUCTED AS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPORTING THE TRAINING AND EDUCATION OF ELECTRICAL APPRENTICES AND JOURNEYMEN AND PROGRAMS IN FURTHERANCE THEREOF.
