TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING TO EXPERIENCED, WELL-ESTABLISHED, EDUCATIONAL AND HEALTH CARE GROUPS AND AGENCIES IN AFRICA AND OTHER DEVELOPING REGIONS IN SUPPORT OF CHILDREN IN NEED, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

WE SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES, TEACHER SUPPORT, UNIFORMS, AND FOOD SUPPLEMENTS IN SEVEN DIFFERENT SCHOOLS. THE SCHOOLS VARY IN SIZE FROM 40 STUDENTS TO 400 STUDENTS. IN TOTAL, WE ESTIMATE WE SUPPORT DAILY FEEDING PROGRAMS IN FOUR OF THE SCHOOLS THAT HAVE APPROXIMATELY 420 STUDENTS IN THE FOUR DIFFERENT SCHOOLS. WE PROVIDE A MEAL PER DAY FOR EACH OF THE CHILDREN ON SCHOOL DAYS WHICH TOTALS SERVING OVER 84,000 MEALS PER YEAR. IN SOME CASES, WE ALSO SUPPLEMENT THEIR FOOD WITH ADDITIONAL FOOD ITEMS FOR THEM TO TAKE HOME ON WEEKENDS AND DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. WE ALSO SUPPORT A FEEDING PROGRAM IN SOUTH AFRICA THAT SERVES APPROXIMATELY 300 MEALS PER WEEK. THESE FOOD ITEMS ARE DISTRIBUTED EACH WEEK IN SQUATTER CAMPS AND HOMELESS SHELTERS THAT TOTAL OVER 15,000 MEALS PER YEAR. THIS AGENCY ALSO SERVES AN ADDITIONAL 5,000 MEALS PER YEAR TO CHILDREN IN SMALL DAY CARE CENTERS.
