EUROCROSSACADEMY (ECA) IS A HIGHLY REGARDED CYCLOCROSS STUDENT-ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM WITH CAMPS HOSTED BOTH IN THE U.S. AND IN EUROPE. FOUNDED BY DIRECTOR GEOFF PROCTOR IN 2003 AND NOW A NON-PROFIT 501(C)(3), THE PROGRAM COMBINES DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL RACING/TRAINING CAMPS THROUGH A HOLISTIC CURRICULUM WITH A CHARACTER COMPONENT TO DEVELOP YOUNG, ASPIRING 14-22 YEAR-OLDS INTO TOP CYCLOCROSS RACERS AND PURPOSE-DRIVEN YOUNG ADULTS. 2023 REPORT CARD: ECA DIRECTED THREE SUMMER CYCLOCROSS TRAINING CAMPS, WORKING WITH 73 STUDENT ATHLETES. THESE CAMPS ALSO SERVED AS PART OF USA CYCLING'S ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY. ECA ENGINEERED A UNIQUE COLLABORATION WITH TEAM USA TO DIRECT 14 JUNIORS AT WORLD CUP BLOCKS IN EUROPE AND 10 OTHER JUNIOR ATHLETES COMPETED FOR ECA'S ACADEMY TEAM AT ITS DECEMBER EUROPEAN RACE BLOCK. 25 OF 27 ATHLETES SELECTED TO THE WORLD CYCLOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS WERE DEVELOPED THROUGH ECA, EITHER AS ATTENDEES, COACHES, OR BOTH.
