THE METRO AREA TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE HOSTED AND PROVIDED SECURITY AND SUPPORT FOR BOYS AND GIRLS ATHLETIC TOURNAMENTS. FOURTEEN TOURNAMENTS WERE MANAGED BY THE ORGANIZATION. THE MATC HOSTED THE FOLLOWING STATE AND REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS: EAST REGION GIRLS GOLF, EAST REGION BOYS TENNIS, STATE CLASS A GIRLS GOLF, EASTERN DAKOTA CONFERENCE GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING, DAKOTA BOWL, STATE CLASS A & B WRESTLING, STATE BOYS AND GIRLS HOCKEY, EASTERN DAKOTA CONFERENCE BOYS SWIMMING & DIVING, EAST REGION BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL, STATE BOYS SWIMMING & DIVING, EAST REGION GIRLS TENNIS, EAST REGION BOYS GOLF, STATE CLASS B BASEBALL & SOFTBALL, AND STATE CLASS A BOYS GOLF.
