OUR RELATIONSHIP WITHIN THE COMMUNITY HAS ALLOWED US TO FIND MORE VOLUNTEER SUPPORT FOR THE STORE AND ATTRACT A OREGON PACIFIC BANK TO FEATURE THE THRIFT SHOP AND IT'S PURPOSE ON THE BANK'S WEBSITE. THE DONATIONS RECEIVED FROM THE COMMUNITY HAVE INCREASED SIGNIFICANTLY GRANTING THE STORE TO DONATE THE OVER-FLOW TO 3 OTHER NON-PROFITS IN THE LOCAL AREA. IN ORDER TO RETAIN THE STORE'S SINGLE EMPLOYEE, IT WAS AGREED TO PROVIDE THE EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE. DUE TO THE COMMITTED SUPPORT AND DONATIONS, IT WAS DETERMINED WITH A BIGGER RETAIL SPACE, THE STORE COULD INCREASE IT'S PROFITS TO HELP SELF SUSTAIN THE STORE. THE HOPE IS TO MOVE INTO A LARGER SPACE IN 2024, WITHIN THE SAME SHOPPOING CENTER CURRENTLY LOCATED, AND TO BREAK EVEN WITH THE ADDED COSTS IN 2024.
