OUR MISSION IS TO UPLIFT AND EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS IN NEED BY PROVIDING FREE FOOD, CLOTHING, ESSENTIAL ITEMS, HOUSING, EDUCATION ASSISTANCE, KID CAMPS, AND VARIOUS OTHER COMMUNITY PROGRAMS.

THE FOUNDATION OWNS AND OPERATES FIVE RESIDENTIAL HOUSING UNITS WHICH ARE PROVIDED AS HOUSING TO SINGLE MOTHERS INVOLVED IN THEIR COUNSELING PROGRAMS. AFTER COMPLETION OF THE LIFE SKILL MENTORING AND COUNSELING PROGRAM THE MOTHERS ARE GIVEN THE OPTION OF PURCHASING THE VERY HOME THEY STAYED IN WHILE THE BETHEL FOUNDATION HELPED THEM GET ON THEIR FEET. TWELVE FAMILIES HAVE BEEN PROVIDED ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE HOUSING PROJECT DURING THE YEAR. ADDITIONALLY, THE FOUNDATION HOLDS PARENTING CONFERENCES TO ASSIST YOUNG TEENAGE MOMS WHILE PROVIDING THEM WITH DIAPERS, CAR SEATS, CRIBS, AND OTHER BABY ITEMS.
THE FOUNDATION IS AN APPROVED FOOD BANK AGENCY ACTING AS AN EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY WHICH PROVIDES FOOD, CLOTHING, AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO 155,498 PEOPLE DURING THE YEAR.
THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED SERVICES TO 1,661 CLIENTS THROUGH THEIR VARIOUS PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. BETHEL HOLDS A SPRING CONFERENCE FOR SINGLE MOTHER'S WHICH FOCUSES ON PROVIDING THE NECESSARY TOOLS FOR SUCCESS. BETHEL PROVIDES A "GRACE" SCHOLARSHIP WHICH IS INTENDED TO ASSIST MOM'S WITH TUITION COSTS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION. ANGELS FOR MOMS ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS TO ADOPT A CHILD FOR CHRISTMAS SO THAT NO CHILD GOES WITHOUT A GIFT ON CHRISTMAS MORNING. RAB RAB'S BIRTHDAY CLUB PROVIDES CHILDREN OF SINGLE MOTHERS: BALLOONS, A BIRTHDAY CAKE, AND A BAG OF GOODIES ON THEIR BIRTHDAY. KIDS ROCK CAMP IS A "HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CAMP" FOR 3RD-5TH GRADERS. CAMP SONLIGHT IS AN OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CAMP HELD FOR BOYS AGES 6-11. SASSY CAMP IS PROVIDED TO YOUNG WOMEN AGES 10-14 WHO ARE DAUGHTERS OF SINGLE MOTHERS TO HELP WITH NUTRITION, SELF-ESTEEM AND TEAM BUILDING.
