GREENBRIER BASEBALL BOOSTER CLUB IS A PARENT ORGANIZATION THAT RAISES FUNDS TO BENEFIT THE BASEBALL PROGRAMS AT BOTH THE MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL. THEY USED THESE FUNDS FOR FIELD MAINTENANCE E.G.COMPLETE REPAIR OF ALL FENCING, 40 BAGS OF FIELD CONDITIONING. REPAIR AND PARTS FOR IRRIGATION SYSTEM. 7 LOADS OF SAND, GRADER, FIELD TOPDRESSING SERVICE AND 7 LOADS OF FINE SEEDS. THEY ALSO USE THEIR FUNDS TO PAY FOR OTHER PROGRAM EXPENSES AND EQUIPMENT THAT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM.
SPRINGFIELD HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL BOOSTER CLUB IS A PARENT ORGANIZATION THAT RAISES FUNDS TO BENEFIT THE GIRLS VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM AT SPRINGFIELD HIGH SCHOOL. THEY WORK TO ENCOURAGE GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP TOWARDS THE OFFICIALS, OPPOSING TEAMS AND VISITORS. DURING THE YEAR THEY WERE ABLE TO PAY ENTRY FEES TO SEVERAL COMPETITIONS, PURCHASE 17- SWEATSUITS, 17- EMBROIDERED JACKETS, 14 - NEW UNIFORMS AND 30- T-SHIRTS ALL FOR THE TEAM. THEY COVERED THE SALARY FOR A SUMMER CAMP INSTRUCTOR FOR THE TEAM. THEY ALSO USED THEIR FUNDS TO COVER ANY OTHER PROGRAM EXPENSES THAT MAY OCCUR THROUGH THE YEAR THAT BENEFITS THE TEAM.
CHEATHAM PARK ELEMENTARY PTO IS A PARENT ORGANIZATION RAISING FUNDS TO HELP THE STUDENTS, TEACHERS AND THE SCHOOL AT CHEATHAM PARK ELEMENTARY. THEY USED THEIR FUNDS THIS YEAR TO PURCHASE THE SCHOOL A SUPPLY SHED, BOOKSTORE ITEMS, REWARDS FOR THE STUDENTS, SUPPLIES FOR SAFETY BAGS FOR THE STUDENTS AND PUMPKINS FOR THE STUDENTS.THEY PROVIDED LUNCH FOR THE TEACHERS DURING TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK, AND GAVE FUNDS TO THE SCHOOL FOR EACH TEACHER TO PURCHASE CLASSROOM SUPPLIES.
