THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FOR ONGOING CONTAINER SHIPMENTS OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO ESPERANZA DE VIDA, RIO HANDO ZACAPA, GUATEMALA WHO SUPPLIES HOSPITALS AND CLINICS THROUGHOUT GUATEMALA WITH URGENT MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO PROVIDE FOR THE LOCAL DISEASE STRICKEN PEOPLE. THE COUNTRY HAS A VERY HIGH RATE OF POVERTY AND THE HOSPITALS AND CLINICS PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED MEDICAL CARE TO MANY PEOPLE LIVING IN POVERTY IN HOMES MADE OF LANDFILL MATERIALS AND MUD. THESE PROGRAMS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH FOR THOUSANDS OF SICK PEOPLE.
THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO SUPPORT SEVERAL LOCAL AND DOMESTIC ORGANIZATIONS WITH SIMILAR MISSIONS, TO PROVIDE FOR THE MOST NEEDY IN OUR COUNTRY WITH FOOD AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES SCHEDULE I.
