THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE PHYSICAL, MORAL, AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ALL CURRICULAR AND EXTRA-CURRICULAR BAND, MARCHING BAND, PERCUSSION, GUARD, AND ORCHESTRA RELATED ACTIVITIES FOR THE STUDENTS OF CORONA DEL SOL HIGH SCHOOL.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR ONE OF THE LARGEST MARCHING BAND PROGRAMS IN ARIZONA THAT HAS BEEN A FINALIST IN STATE AND REGIONAL COMPETITIONS PERENNIALLY; PROVIDE SUPPORT TO APPROXIMATELY 190 STUDENTS PER YEAR, INCLUDING PAY FOR COACHES, TRANSPORTATION TO TRAINING CAMP, GAMES, COMPETITIONS, AND EQUIPMENT.


PROVIDE SUPPORT TO 3 CONCERT BANDS, JAZZ BANDS, AND ORCHESTRA (TOTAL OF APPROXIMATELY 380 STUDENTS) WHO CONSISTENTLY EARN TOP AWARDS IN AREA FESTIVALS. SUPPORT INCLUDES MUSIC, INSTRUMENT PURCHASE AND REPAIR, PAY FOR MUSICIANS TO WORK WITH STUDENTS, CLASSROOM SUPPLIES, TRANSPORTATION TO AREA CONCERTS AND FESTIVALS.


PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE COLOR GUARD AND WINTER GUARD PROGRAMS WHICH INCLUDE APPROXIMATELY 25 TO 35 STUDENTS AND CONSISTENTLY WIN TOP AWARDS AT STATE AND REGIONAL COMPETITIONS. SUPPORT INCLUDES EQUIPMENT, COSTUMES, COACHING AND TRANSPORTATION TO COMPETITIONS.


PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE LARGEST PERCUSSION PROGRAM IN ARIZONA, INCLUDING 3 PERCUSSION ENSEMBLES AND 1 STEEL DRUM ENSEMBLE (APPROXIMATELY 150 STUDENTS), WHICH HAVE CONSISTENTLY WON TOP AWARDS AT STATE AND REGIONAL COMPETITIONS. SUPPORT INCLUDES INSTRUMENT PURCHASE AND REPAIR, EQUIPMENT, AND TRANSPORTATION TO CONCERTS AND COMPETITIONS.
