BUILDING A LEGACY IN FOUNTAIN HILLS AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.THE FOUNTAIN HILLS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IS A 501 C3 INVESTING IN NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE WORK IMPROVES THE LIVES OF OUR YOUTH SENIORS FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY. FHCF WORKS WITH NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AS A PARTNER HELPING THEM TO IDENTIFY PROBLEMS FIND SOLUTIONS AND BECOME CONTINUALLY STRONGER AND MORE EFFECTIVE. EACH YEAR THE FOUNTAIN HILLS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION RECEIVES DOZENS OF GRANT APPLICATIONS FROM LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO HELP WITH NEW PROJECTS AND ONGOING PROJECTS. THESE ORGANIZATIONS RELY ON DONOR SUPPORT AND GRANTS TO GROW AND SURVIVE.

THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES GREATLY NEEDED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO OTHER LOCAL FOUNTAIN HILLS COMMUNITY 501C3 ORGANIZATIONS WHO APPLY FOR GRANTS FUNDED BY AN ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT FLUTTER AT THE FOUNTAIN AND OTHER CAMPAIGNS AS WELL AS MANAGING A DONOR-ADVISED FUND AND A LEGACY ENDOWED INVESTMENT FUND. TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO NEEDY INDIVIDUALS THIS YEAR THE FOUNDATION SPONSORED AND FUNDED THE COST OF THE FORMATION OF THE FOUNTAIN HILLS COMMUNITY TAX CREDIT FOUNDATION A SEPARATELY INCORPORATED SUBSIDIARY OF THE FOUNDATION QUALIFIED AS A QUALIFIED CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION TO RECEIVE DONATIONS FOR WHICH DONORS RECEIVE UP TO $800 STATE INCOME TAX CREDIT IN A JOINT RETURN $400 SINGLE OR SEPARATE RETURN. THE GRANTS FROM THE FUNDS RAISED AT THE FLUTTER EVENT ARE MADE IN THE SUCCEEDING CALENDAR YEAR.
