TO BE THE WORLD'S CENTER FOR PROVIDING SCIENCE-BASED EDUCATION ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DARK SKY PRESERVATION, ASTRONOMY, SPACE SCIENCE AND SUSTAINABLE LIFE ON EARTH. PRESENTATIONS WERE GIVEN, PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS WERE DEVELOPED, AND FACILITY CONCEPTUAL DESIGN WAS INITIATED.

FHCF WORKS WITH NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AS A PARTNER HELPING THEM TO IDENTIFY PROBLEMS FIND SOLUTIONS AND BECOME CONTINUALLY STRONGER AND MORE EFFECTIVE. EACH YEAR THE FOUNTAIN HILLS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION RECEIVES DOZENS OF GRANT APPLICATIONS FROM LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO HELP WITH NEW PROJECTS AND ONGOING PROJECTS. THESE ORGANIZATIONS RELY ON DONOR SUPPORT AND GRANTS TO GROW AND SURVIVE.

Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.
