ON APRIL 17-18, 2021, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ARIZONA'S TWENTY-TWO NATIVE AMERICAN TRIBES AND THE CITY OF SCOTTSDALE, THE ASSOCIATION HOSTED THE ANNUAL ARIZONA INDIAN FESTIVAL HELD IN THE SCOTTSDALE CIVIC CENTER PLAZA. THE FESTIVAL PRESENTED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC A UNIQUE ARIZONA NATIVE EXPERIENCE INCLUDING CONTEMPORARY NATIVE ARTISTS, TRADITIONAL AND FUSION FOODS PREPARED FROM LOCAL AND FORAGED INGREDIENTS, PERFORMANCES OF NATIVE STORYTELLING, MUSIC, DANCE AND SONG, A NATIVE ARTISAN MARKET AND FAMILY AND CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES. THE FESTIVAL AFFORDED TRIBAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM OFFICES AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE THEIR NATIVE DESTINATIONS TO THE PUBLIC.
