PROVIDE RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS TO MEET COMMUNITY CULTURAL NEEDS.

MEMBERSHIP- SPORTS, RECREATION, AND FITNESS: THE CENTER'S SPORTS DEPARTMENT PROVIDES HIGH QUALITY RECREATIONAL AND FITNESS ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS OF ALL AGES. DURING 2021, THE CENTER SERVED ITS MEMBERSHIP THROUGH OVER ONE MILLION VISITS TO THE CENTER FOR A VARIETY OF SPORTS AND PROGRAMS INCLUDING YOGA, KARATE, AEROBICS, BASKETBALL, SOCCER, SWIMMING, NUTRITIONAL CONSELING, AND ONLINE PROGRAMMING. AS A RESULT OF COVID, MANY FITNESS PROGRAMS WERE CREATED TO BRING FITNESS AND OTHER PROGRAMS INTO THE HOMES OF OUR MEMBERS OR OUTSIDE AND SOCIALLY DISTANCED.
PRESCHOOL: THE CENTER OPERATES A PRESCHOOL AT THE INA LEVINE JEWISH CAMPUS. DURING 2021, THE PRESCHOOL SERVED APPROXIMATELY 175 CHILDREN FROM AGES 6 WEEKS THROUGH KINDERGARTEN. DURING THE SUMMER, THE SCHOOL SERVED APPROXIMATELY 155 SUMMER CAMPERS. AS A RESULT OF COVID, MANY NEW SAFETY PROTOCOLS WERE PUT IN PLACE TO KEEP THE CHILDREN AND TEACHERS SAFE AND HEALTHY. FOR MANY FAMILIES, THIS PROGRAM IS THE POINT OF CONTACT WITH THE CENTER. IT IS THEIR FIRST REASON FOR JOINING.
OTHER PROGRAMS AVAILABLE AT THE FACILITY INCLUDE EDUCATIONAL AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS. YOUTH PROGRAMS INCLUDE CAMPS (575 UNIQUE CAMPERS), AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, THEATER PROGRAMS AND KID'S CLUB. ADULT PROGRAMS INCLUDE LECTURES, SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, AND ADULT SPORTS AND RECREATION. AS A RESULT OF COVID, WE CREATED A NEW VIRUTAL PROGRAM OF EVENTS WHERE WE WERE ABLE TO BRING AN ENTIRELY NEW AND CREATIVE SET OF PROGRAMS TO THE MEMBERS.
