DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, AFDA WAS NOT ABLE TO HOLD ITS ANNUAL WINTER CONFERENCE. INSTEAD, AFDA PROVIDED FIRE DISTRICT AND BOARD TRAINING IN FIVE LOCATIONS ACROSS ARIZONA. THERE WERE OVER 150 FIRE CHIEFS, FIRE ADMINISTRATION, AND BOARD MEMBERS THAT PARTICIPATED IN THE IN-PERSON TRAINING. FOR THOSE THAT COULD NOT ATTEND IN-PERSON, AFDA PROVIDED AN ADDITIONAL 150 INDIVIDUALS WITH VIRTUAL TRAINING.
