AFDA SUCCESSFULLY HELD THEIR WINTER CONFERENCE IN JANUARY 2022 AFTER HAVING TO CANCEL IN 2021 DUE TO THE COVID-19. THERE WERE OVER 400 PEOPLE THAT REGISTERED FOR THE CONFERENCE, WHICH OFFERS A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS FOR FIRE DISTRICT BOARD MEMBERS, FIRE CHIEFS AND FIRE ADMIN STAFF. IN ADDITION, THERE WERE 163 FIRE CHIEFS, FIRE ADMINISTRATION, AND BOARD MEMBERS THAT PARTICIPATED IN IN-PERSON OR VIRTUAL TRAINING FOR MANDATORY STATUTORY COMPLIANCE TRAINING THROUGH AFDA.
