SINCE 1977, THE PIMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION HAS ASSISTED PIMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN RESPONDING TO THE DIVERSE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE OF PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA. PHILANTHROPIC CONTRIBUTIONS SECURED BY THE FOUNDATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COLLEGE SUPPORT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, PROGRAM ENHANCEMENTS AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS, WHICH IN TURN MAXIMIZE THE COLLEGE'S POTENTIAL FOR PROVIDING ACCESS, SUCCESS AND EXCELLENCE IN THE EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF OUR CITIZENS. DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022, THE FOUNDATION CELEBRATED THE FOLLOWING ACHIEVEMENTS: 1: ENTERED A THREE YEAR CHALLENGE WITH THE CONNIE HILLMAN FOUNDATION WITH A 1:2 MATCH. FOR EVERY 1 IN NEW OR INCREASED GIFTS, 0.50 WILL BE AWARDED, UP TO 5M. 2: INITIATED DONOR COMMUNICATION TO ENGAGE DONORS IN UNDERSTANDING HOW FUNDS ARE INVESTED AND PROVIDE TRANSPARENCY REGARDING POLICIES. COMMUNICATION RELATED TO ENDOWED FUNDS ARE MAILED ON A QUARTERLY BASIS; SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION IS SENT EACH SEMESTER IDENTIFYING THOSE WHO RECEIVED FUNDS FORM VARIOUS SCHOLARSHIPS. A 'DONOR INVESTMENT GUIDE' IS UPDATED QUARTERLY AND AVAILABLE ON PIMA FOUNDATION'S WEBSITE. WE HELD A LUNCHEON FOR CURRENT OR POTENTIAL DONORS TO REVIEW OUR PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT PROCESS AND ADDRESS QUESTIONS RELATED TO HOW OUR INVESTMENTS ARE MANAGED AND WE INTEND FOR THIS TO BE AN ANNUAL EVENT MOVING FORWARD. 3: CONSOLIDATED FINANCE AND INVESTMENT COMMITTEES INTO ONE COMMITTEE TO BROADEN UNDERSTANDING OF THE ROLE INVESTMENTS PLAY IN MANAGING THE FOUNDATION'S FUNDS.
