THE OPPORTUNITY TREE FOSTERS COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS TO PROMOTE OPTIONS, OPPORTUNITIES AND OUTCOMES.

THE OPPORTUNITY TREE PROVIDES RESIDENTIAL/HABILITATION THROUGH THE OPERATION OF GROUP HOMES/APARTMENTS FOR ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES, SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS IN A VARIETY OF LIVING SITUATIONS AND SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS LIVING INDEPENDENTLY. APPROXIMATELY 115 INDIVIDUALS WERE PROVIDED A VARIETY OF RESIDENTIAL, HOME, AND COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES IN FY 2021.
THE OPPORTUNITY TREE PROVIDES DAY TREATMENT FOR ADULTS THROUGH SOCIALIZATION, TRAINING, ACTIVITIES, VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, WORK ORIENTATION TRAINING, AND, AS APPROPRIATE, COUNSELING. THIS SERVICE PROMOTES SKILLS DEVELOPMENT IN INDEPENDENT LIVING, SELF-CARE, SAFETY, COMMUNICATIONS, WORK SKILLS, SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS, HOBBIES, AND RETIREMENT PROGRAMS. APPROXIMATELY 93 INDIVIDUALS WERE PROVDIED DAY TREATMENT SERVICES IN FY 2021.
THE OPPORTUNITY TREE PROVIDES ADULT VOCATIONAL TRAINING THROUGH ACTUAL WORK EXPERIENCE IN A SHELTERED WORKSHOP. THE WORK PROVIDED IS FROM SUBCONTRACTS WITH COMMUNITY BUSINESSES. APPROXIMATELY 58 INDIVIDUALS WERE WORKING AND RECEIVING PAYCHECKS IN FY 2021.
