TO SUPPORT THE MERCED RESCUE MISSION IN A BUILDING PROGRAM.MERCED RESCUE MISSION: MISSION, VISION AND PURPOSE:OUR MISSION IS TO EXHIBIT THE LOVE AND CARING OF JESUS CHRIST; TRANSFORMING LIVES FOR THOSE IN OUR COUNTY WHO ARE IN PHYSCIAL AND SPIRTUAL NEED.OUR VISION IS TO BE THE HANDS, FEET AND VOICE OF CHRIST IN MERCED COUNTY; ADVOCATING FOR THE DISPOSSESSED, BATTERED, HUNGRY AND DESTITUTE.OUR PURPOSE IS TO CONTINUE THE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH EVANGELIZING, DISCIPLINING, AND SERVING THE SPRITUAL AND PHYSICAL NEEDS OF THE DISADVANTAGES. WE PROVIDE EMERGENCY SUBSISTENCE AND REHABILITATION PROGRAMS FOR MEN, WOMEN AND FAMILIES, INCLUDING SKILLS TRAINING FOR THE INTTER-CITY POOR. MERCED RESCUE MISSION SUPPORT PROGRAM IS A SUPPORT ORGANIZATION FOR A BUILDING PROGRAM.MERCED RESCUE MISSION'S FIVE KEY PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES ARE: #1 - EMERGENCY HOMELESS SERVICES (DAILY MEALS, SHOWERS, CLOTHING, SHELTER, ETC). #2 - COMMUNITY OUTREACH ACTIVITIES SERVE MEMBERS OF THE HOMELESS COMMUNITY VIA MOBILE FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES MEALS TO CITIES LOCATED THROUGHOUT MERCED COUNTY, AND VIA CASE MANAGEMENT AND OTHER SPECIAL OUTREACH EVENTS. #3 - NEW LIFE TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM IS A 9 TO 12 MONTH LIVE-IN RECOVERY PROGRAM OFFERING MEN AND WOMEN HOPE AND A SECOND CHANCE TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN TRAPPED IN ADDICTION OR WHO HAVE BEEN TRAPPED IN ADDICTION OR WHO HAVE BEEN INCARCERATED. #4 - RESPITE CARE PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES HOMELESS PATIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL WITH A SAFE PLACE TO RECOVER. #5 - ROOM AT THE INN PROVIDES HOMELESS FAMILIES WITH TEMPORARY HOUSING WHILE THEY WORK WITH GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES, LOCAL BUSINESES, AND OTHER NON-PROFIT AGENCIES TO FIND EMPLOYMENT, PERMANENT HOUSING AND AVAILABLE SOCIAL SERVICES TO ENABLE THEM TO BECOME SELF SUFFICIENT CITIZENS AGAIN. #6 - PROJECT ROOMKEY/HOUSING GIVES PEOPLE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS AND ARE RECOVERING FROM COVID-19 OR HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19 A PLACE TO RECUPERATE AND PROPERLY QUARANTINE OUTSIDE OF A HOSPITAL.
