UCP HEALTHY WEST ORANGE WAS CREATED TO SEPARATE CERTAIN CONSIDERATIONS FROM UNITED CEREBRAL PALSY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA, INC.'S GENERAL OPERATIONS, INCLUDING ISOLATING CERTAIN REAL ESTATE ACTIVITIES AND LIABILITIES FROM UCP'S OVERALL CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES AND ASSETS. IT'S MISSION IS ACHIEVED BY OWNING AND LEASING PROPERTY TO UCP FOR UCP TO OPERATE A SCHOOL/PEDIATRIC THERAPY. UCP HEALTHY WEST ORANGE HAS RECEIVED NEW MARKET TAX CREDIT FINANCING, ALONG WITH DONATIONS FROM UCP, AND SUCH DONATIONS AND FINANCING, ALONG WITH LEASE PAYMENTS RECEIVED BY UCP, WILL FULLY FUND UCP HEALTHY WEST ORANGE'S ACTIVITIES. BY PROVIDING THESE SERVICES, UCP HEALTHY WEST ORANGE IS ABLE TO ACHIEVE ITS MISSION AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION OF UCP.
